1. PURPOSE OF QUANTUM JET VA
Quantum Jet Virtual Airlines is a virtual airline created to offer a professional, structured, and inclusive environment for flight simulation enthusiasts to simulate commercial, executive, and cargo operations.
Using the FSAirlines platform as our operations base, our mission is to provide a realistic flying and airline management experience, along with training, progression, and community engagement. All our services are free of charge.
1.1
All registered pilots must read, understand, and comply with these regulations, as well as the terms of use of FSAirlines and any online ATC network they choose to fly on (e.g., IVAO or VATSIM).
2. GENERAL TERMS
2.1 Code of Conduct
All Quantum Jet members are expected to behave respectfully, professionally, and cooperatively when representing the airline on any platform — including our website, Discord, FSAirlines, social media, or virtual flight networks.
Any offensive, discriminatory, fraudulent, or disruptive behavior will result in immediate suspension, and possibly permanent removal from the airline at staff discretion.
2.1.1
Tampering with internal systems, falsifying flight logs, or attempting to manipulate flight data is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate dismissal and possible reporting to relevant platforms.
2.2 Privacy
Personal data provided during registration will only be used for operational purposes within Quantum Jet. We do not share data with third parties unless required by law or by integrated networks such as IVAO or VATSIM.
By registering, users consent to their username and basic information (e.g., VID) being visible to other members. We may send newsletters or announcements from time to time, which users may opt out of.
3. REQUIREMENTS & ADMISSION
3.1 Minimum Age
Minimum age to join Quantum Jet is 16 years. Exceptional cases may be considered individually by the staff.
3.2 Technical Requirements
Pilots must have:
- A supported flight simulator (MSFS or X-Plane 11/12)
- A stable internet connection
- An account on FSAirlines and application to Quantum Jet VA [ID 56249]
3.3 Knowledge Expectations
We welcome pilots of all skill levels. However, to operate flights — especially on online ATC networks — you should be willing to learn and apply:
- Basic flight planning
- Use of navigation charts
- Radio communication procedures (for IVAO/VATSIM operations)
3.4 Application Process
Once you apply through FSAirlines, Quantum Jet staff will contact you for a short interview.
- Beginner pilots will be offered training and learning resources
- Experienced pilots may be asked for flight network history or to complete a check ride
4. OPERATIONS
4.1 Operational Divisions
Quantum Jet simulates three main types of operations:
- Commercial Passenger Flights
- Executive Flights
- Cargo Transport Flights
Routes and aircraft availability are managed through FSAirlines. Pilots may fly solo or join group events organized by the staff.
4.2 Flight Modes
Flights may be performed:
- Online using the FSAirlines tracker
- Online ATC via IVAO or VATSIM
- In real-time conditions, following realistic procedures and flight planning
4.3 Callsigns & Bookings
Each pilot is assigned a callsign. Flights are booked through the FSAirlines Management System, based on aircraft availability and pilot rating. Some missions may require specific permissions.
5. STRUCTURE & RANKING
5.1 Pilot Ranks
Pilots progress through ranks based on logged hours and experience. Each rank unlocks new aircraft and responsibilities:
- Regional Pilot – Small aircraft and short-haul routes
- Commercial Pilot – Medium to long-haul passenger flights
- Cargo Pilot – Heavy aircraft for freight operations
- Captain – Senior rank with full fleet access
New members start as Regional Pilots and progress via logged hours and staff evaluations.
5.2 Aircraft Access
Aircraft access depends on the pilot’s rating. Special cases or test flights may be arranged for faster progression or training.
6. ACTIVITY & REPORTING
6.1 First Flight Requirement
New pilots must complete and report their first flight within 15 days of acceptance. Failure to do so may result in automatic removal.
6.2 Inactivity Policy
Pilots are expected to fly at least 2 flights per month. Failure to meet this without notice may result in deactivation. Absences should be reported to staff in advance when possible.
6.3 Flight Reporting
Flights must be logged using the FSAirlines Client. In case of technical failure, a manual PIREP may be submitted with sufficient evidence.
7. COMMUNITY & SUPPORT
Quantum Jet offers a Discord server where pilots can:
- Request technical support
- Coordinate group flights
- Receive training and feedback
- Discuss flight planning and procedures
We will also communicate through email and social media for announcements, events, and updates.
8. DATA PROTECTION
Quantum Jet handles personal data with strict confidentiality and limited internal use.
Pilots may request access, modification, or deletion of their data at any time via email or Discord. No personal data will be shared with third parties except when required by law.
9. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By applying to Quantum Jet Virtual Airlines, the pilot acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted the rules and conditions outlined in this document. Ignorance of the rules does not exempt from compliance.
